December 29 (SeeNews) - Macedonian drug maker Alkaloid [MSE:ALK] said on Friday that it expects a 7% increase of its consolidated net profit to 13.5 million euro ($16.2 million) in 2018.
The company also expects 7% increase in its sales revenues, Alkaloid said in its 2018 business plan filed on the Macedonian Stock Exchange.
The company said it expects to generate about 63% of its sales abroad and 37%on the domestic market.
In 2016, the company's net profit amounted to 11.9 million euro. For 2017, Alkaloid sees its profit reaching 12.6 million euro.
Alkaloid has three subsidiaries in Macedonia, as well as 14 subsidiaries and four representative offices abroad. Alkaloid also operates a laboratory in Slovenia for the purposes of batch testing and release in the European Union.
