March 12 (SeeNews) - Macedonian drug maker Alkaloid [MSE:ALK] said on Wednesday it plans to pay a net dividend of 180 denars ($4.1/2.9 euro) per share for 2013, up from 165 denars it paid a year earlier.
The blue-chip company's shareholders will vote on the proposal on April 7, Alkaloid said in a filing with the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE).
The dividend will be payable as of May 14.
Alkaloid’s 2013 consolidated net profit increased 3.0% to 600.4 million denars in 2013.
Skopje-based Alkaloid has representative offices in more than 10 countries and distributes its products in some 30 markets.
