SKOPJE (Macedonia), July 10 (SeeNews) – Macedonian dairy Mlekara Zdravje Radovo DOO has invested 2.0 million euro ($2.8 million) in the construction of two new production units to expand its products portfolio, Macedonian Economic Chamber said on Friday.
The new units, located in the northern city of Kumanovo and the southeastern city of Strumica, are expected to start operations in September, the Economic Chamber said, quoting the company’s management.
Some 1.3 million euro of the investment came from loans, whilst the remainder came from company's own funds, the statement said.
The launch of new dairy products, which are also intended for the regional market, is expected to raise the company's overall output by 20%, it added.
Zdravje Radovo is based in the capital Skopje and employs some 160 people.
