SKOPJE (Macedonia), November 15 (SeeNews) – Macedonian blue-chip construction company Granit [MSE:GRNT] said on Wednesday its non-consolidated net profit fell by an annual 3% to 181.2 million denars ($3.5 million/2.9 million euro) in the first nine months of 2017.
Granit’s operating revenue rose 9% year-on-year to 3.35 billion denars in the January-September period, the company said in a bourse filing.
Total operating expenses increased 9% on the year to 3.18 billion denars in the review period.
The company’s financial revenue plummeted 78% to 14.9 million denars, while financial expenses rose 26% to 12.2 million denars.
Skopje-based Granit was established in 1952 and privatised in 1996. It is active in large projects like construction and rehabilitation of roads. The company owns several concrete and asphalt plants and stone quarries.
