September 15 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip MBI-10 index on the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) closed at 2,664.68 points on Friday, a 0.3% increase over a week.
Turnover on the MSE's official market grew to 72.7 million denars ($1.41 million/1.18 million euro) in five sessions in the week ended September 15, from 45.8 million denars in four sessions in the the prior week. The MSE did not operate on September 4 due to a public and market holiday.
Drug maker Alkaloid [MSE:ALK] generated the largest trading turnover on the MSE this week, of 17.4 million denars, as 2,452 shares of the bank changed hands.
The MSE bond index closed at 129.56 points on Friday, down by 0.24 points compared to September 8.
