December 29 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip MBI-10 index of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) closed at 2,538.86 points on Thursday, a 1.6% increase over a week.
MSE was closed on Friday.
Turnover on the MSE's official market fell to 41.3 million denars ($805,100/671,700 euro) in the week ended December 28, from 55.8 million denars in the previous week, bourse data showed.
Ohridska Banka [MSE:OHB] generated the largest trading turnover on the MSE this week, of 13.9 million denars, as 2,895 shares of the bank changed hands.
On Thursday, Ohridska Banka said its majority owner, France's Societe Generale, will increase the company's share capital by 206.1 million denars. The new share issue aims to help Ohridska Banka cover the minimum capital requirements.
The MSE bond index closed at 128.57 points on Thursday, unchanged from a week earlier.
