January 12 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip MBI-10 index of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) closed at 2,647.71 points on Friday, a 1.57% rise over a week.
MSE did not operate on Monday, January 8, due to a public holiday as well as on Monday, January 1.
Turnover on the MSE's official market rose to 125.3 million denars ($2.47 million/2.03 million euro) in the week ended January 12 from 45.6 million denars in the previous week, bourse data showed.
Komercijalna Banka [MSE:KMB] generated the largest trading turnover on the MSE this week, of 16.0 million denars, as 5,360 shares of the bank changed hands.
The MSE bond index closed at 128.79 points on Friday, unchanged from a week earlier.
