Macedonia to upgrade health services with 97 mln euro CEB loan

SKOPJE (Macedonia), January 24 (SeeNews) - The Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) said on Friday it has approved a 97 million euro ($132.3 million) loan for the modernization of health services in Macedonia.

“This ambitious project will provide wider access to better quality healthcare, while at the same time improving working conditions for over 2,000 healthcare employees," CEB said in a press release.

EU-aspiring Macedonia became CEB member in December 1997.
