SKOPJE (Macedonia), June 19 (SeeNews) – Macedonia's finance ministry raised 900 million denars ($17 million/14.6 million euro) from the sale of two issues of government securities on Tuesday, the central bank said.
The finance ministry sold 320 million denars of one-year Treasury bills, below its 350 million denars target, and 580 million denars of 15-year Treasury bonds, the central bank, NBRM, said.
The central bank sells government securities on behalf of the finance ministry through volume tenders, in which the price and coupon are fixed in advance and primary dealers only bid with amounts.
