SKOPJE (Macedonia), November 21 (SeeNews) – Macedonia's finance ministry raised 6.0 billion denars ($110.7 million/ 97 million euro) from the sale of four issues of government securities on Tuesday, in line with plan, the country's central bank said.
The finance ministry sold 4.10 billion denars of one-year Treasury bills, 700 million denars of two-year T-notes, 750 denars of two-year T-notes and 441 million denars of 15-year T-bonds, the central bank, NBRM, said in a statement.
The central bank sells government securities on behalf of the finance ministry through volume tenders, in which the price and coupon are fixed in advance and primary dealers only bid with amounts.
