SKOPJE (Macedonia), April 25 (SeeNews) – Macedonia's finance ministry has raised 3.59 billion denars ($70.9 million/58 million euro) from the sale of two issues of government securities on Tuesday, the central bank, NBRM, said.
The finance ministry sold 2.39 billion denars of one-year Treasury bills, just below the 2.4 billion denars target, and 1.2 billion denars of 30-year Treasury bonds, NBRM said.
The central bank sells government securities on behalf of the finance ministry through volume tenders, in which the price and coupon are fixed in advance and primary dealers only bid with amounts.
