March 27 (SeeNews) - Macedonia's finance ministry sold on Tuesday a total of 403.5 million denars ($7.1 milllion/6.6 million euro) worth of government securities, the central bank, NBRM, said.
Investors bought 220 million denars in two-year Treasury notes without euro clause and 183.5 million denars in fifteen-year Treasury bonds with euro clause.
Both issues carried the same coupon as at the last similar auction held on March 21.
NBRM sells government securities on behalf of the finance ministry through volume tenders, in which the price and coupon are fixed in advance and primary dealers only bid with amounts.
Government securities with an euro clause are issued and sold in denars and indexed to the euro.
