May 10 (SeeNews) - Macedonia's central bank said on Wednesday it sold 29.87 billion denars ($528.1 million/486.15 million euro) worth of 35-day central bank bills, below its target of 30 billion denars.
The coupon rate of the central bank bills, which serves as Macedonia's benchmark interest rate, was set at 3.25%, the same as at the previous similar auction held on April 12.
The central bank also that it decided to keep the coupon unchanged due to the risks created by the uncertain political situation in the country.
