SKOPJE (Macedonia), December 27 (SeeNews) – Macedonia's finance ministry raised 1.89 billion denars ($34.9 million/30.6 million euro) from the sale of three issues of government securities, in line with plan, the country's central bank said.
The finance ministry sold 1.29 billion denars of one-year T-bills, 450 million denars of two-year T-notes and 150 million denars of two-year T-notes, the central bank, NBRM, said in a statement on Tuesday.
The central bank sells government securities on behalf of the finance ministry through volume tenders, in which the price and coupon are fixed in advance and primary dealers only bid with amounts.
