SKOPJE (Macedonia), January 10 (SeeNews) – Turkish medical equipment producer Matek Medical will invest 15 million euro ($19.6 million) in the construction of a factory in Macedonia, the foreign investment promotion agency in Skopje said on Thursday.
Construction works on the factory will start as soon as the deal with Matek is signed on January 19 or January 20, a PR officer for the government agency Invest in Macedonia told SeeNews by phone.
The factory, to be located in the free industrial zone Bunardzik near Skopje, will produce biopsy needles, markers, surgical kits and clothes, catheters and coronary stents, local news daily Vecer (www.vecer.com.mk) quoted the agency director Visar Fida as saying.
