SKOPJE (Macedonia), October 4 (SeeNews) – Macedonian Railways Transport and Macedonian Railway Infrastructure companies have opened a tender for installing an integrated energy management information system, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) said on Wednesday.
The project which has a total estimated cost of 59 million euro ($69.45 million) equivalent, will allow the two companies to collect information relevant to energy consumption, EBRD said in a procurement notice.
The railway transport company and the railway infrastructure company intend using the proceeds of a loan from the EBRD to finance the project
Tendering for the project is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2017.
The project will require the procurement of servers, workstations, on-board and stationary electrical energy meters (OEEM), current measurement transformers for OEEM, voltage measurement transformers for OEEM and data handling systems for OEEM, as well as stationary and on-board diesel flow meters, among other goods.
