SKOPJE (Macedonia), December 16 (SeeNews) – Macedonia has called a pre-qualification tender to prepare necessary documents for establishing an integrated and financially self-sustainable waste management system in several regions, the European Union’s procurement journal said on Tuesday.
The contract includes the preparation of regional waste management plans and strategic environmental assessments for each of the Pelagonia, Southwestern, Vardar and Skopje regions, the notice in the Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) said.
The maximum budget is set at 3.9 million euro ($4.85 million).
Applications should be sent by January 29, 2015.
The provisional date of invitation to tender is March 8, 2015. The total duration of the contract is two years.
The contracting authority is the Macedonian finance ministry.
