SKOPJE (Macedonia), December 27 (SeeNews) – Macedonia has completed a 1.8 million euro ($2.5 million) upgrade of the Blace border crossing, on the border with Serbia, Skopje-based media reported on Friday.
The upgrades, which increased the border checkpoint's traffic capacity, were financed by the World Bank and conducted by Macedonian company Granit [MSE:GRNT], news agency MIA (www.mia.mk) said.
The project was launched in 2010.
Some two million people crossed the Macedonian-Serbian border at the Blace checkpoint in both directions in 2013.
