September 7 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Macedonia decreased by 19.9% year-on-year to 205 in July, the state statistical office said on Thursday.
The estimated value of the construction projects covered by building permits issued in July fell by 55.1% to 1.55 billion denars ($30.2 million/25.2 million euro), the statistical office said in a statement.
In July, a total of 124 permits were issued for new buildings, 24 for civil engineering projects, and 57 for reconstruction projects. Of the total number of permits issued in July 134 were issued to private individuals.
During the review period, 210 dwellings were planned for construction, with a total usable floor area of 19,748 sq m.
