LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), November 4 (SeeNews) – Port operator Luka Koper [LJE:LKPG] posted the biggest gains among the blue-chip companies on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) on Monday, supporting a rise in the main share index, LJSE data showed.
The LJSE was closed on Thursday and Friday (October 31 and November 1) for Reformation Day and Day of Remembrance of the Dead, respectively.
Luka Koper's share price rose 2.56% to 24.0 euro on Monday.
Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG] fell the most among the blue chips. The company’s shares closed 1.41% lower at 56.0 euro.
Telekom Slovenije must pay 17.6 million euro with default interest and costs of the arbitration procedure for acquiring 34% interest in Antenna TV SL, the telco said earlier in the day, citing an arbitration court's ruling.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, closed at 857.83 points, up 0.50%.
Pharmaceuticals producer Krka [LJE:KRKG] generated the largest portion of LJSE's trading turnover on Monday – 188,190 euro.
The LJSE's total trading turnover fell to 395,940 euro ($442,020) on Monday from 761,560 euro on Wednesday.
