LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), June 24 (SeeNews) – Shares of Slovenian port operator Luka Koper [LJE:LKPG] recorded the biggest gains among the blue-chip companies on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) on Monday, bourse data showed.
Luka Koper’s shares closed at 28.9 euro, up 2.85%.
Shares of Nova Ljubljanska Banka [LJE:NLBR] generated the largest turnover on Monday, of 831,890 euro. The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development said earlier in the day it has increased its stake in NLB to 7.125%, supporting the conclusion of the re-privatisation of Slovenia’s largest lender.
Total trading turnover on the exchange edged up to 1.06 million euro ($1.2 million) on Monday from 1.01 million euro on Friday.
Chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] fell the most among the blue-chip companies. Cinkarna Celje's shares closed 2.11% lower at 186.0 euro.
The blue-chip SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, ended the session 0.11% lower at 890.23 points.
