LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), February 28 (SeeNews) – The benchmark share index of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) fell on Friday, as port operator Luka Koper [LJE:LKPG] posted the biggest drop in share price among the blue-chip companies, bourse data showed.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, ended Friday's session 2.41% lower at 907.00 points.
Luka Koper's shares lost 5.94%, falling to 20.6 euro.
Financial group KD [LJE:KDHR] posted the biggest gains among the blue chips. The company’s shares closed at 86.0 euro, up 0.58%.
The bourse's regulated market turnover rose to 2.91 million euro ($3.2 million) on Friday, from 2.15 million euro on Thursday, with pharmaceuticals producer Krka [LJE:KRKG] contributing almost a third of the total - 957,610 euro.
