LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), January 8 (SeeNews) – Slovenian port operator Luka Koper [LJE:LKPG] posted the biggest gains among the blue-chip companies on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) on Wednesday, supporting a rise in the bourse's main share index, LJSE data showed.
Luka Koper's shares closed at 23.5 euro, up 1.29%.
Chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] fell the most among the blue chips. The company's shares ended the session 0.53% lower at 186.0 euro.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, gained 0.47% to 937.81 points.
Insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav [LJE:ZVTG] generated the day’s largest turnover – of 648,480 euro.
Total regulated market daily turnover fell to 1.62 million euro ($1.8 million) on Wednesday from 2.73 million euro on Tuesday.
