March 14 (SeeNews) - German carrier Lufthansa postponed plans to grow its operations from Frankfurt, in Germany, to the capitals of Ljubljana and Belgrade due to staff shortages, regional media reported on Tuesday.
Frankfurt-Ljubljana and Frankfurt-Belgrade flights will increase from two to three daily from April 24 and May 14 respectively, instead of March 26, as had been planned originally, news portal EX-YU aviation said.
“At present, the personnel bottlenecks in the industry throughout Europe have not yet been completely overcome, and in many cases, training of newly hired colleagues is still underway,” EX-YU Aviation reported, quoting Lufthansa officials.
