November 9 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) declined on Wednesday due to losses in index heavyweights Ericsson Nikola Tesla and Podravka, bourse data showed.
The 19-share CROBEX fell 0.36% to finish at 1,907.24 points. The narrower index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, lost 0.64% to close at 1,133.39 points.
ICT solutions provider Ericsson Nikola Tesla [ZSE:ERNT] was the most traded company on the bourse on Wednesday with a turnover of 1.6 million kuna ($213,000/212,000 euro). Its shares fell 1.89% to close at 1,560 kuna.
Shares of another blue chip, food and pharmaceuticals company Podravka [ZSE:PODR], plunged 3.60% to close at 642 kuna in a turnover of 1.4 million kuna, after they gained 7.42% on Tuesday.
The only other stock with a turnover above the one million kuna on Wednesday was exchange traded fund InterCapital SBITOP TR UCITS [ZSE:7SLO], which is not part of the main indices. Its shares added 0.14% to end at 131.70 kuna in a turnover of 1.4 million kuna.
The bourse's regular trading turnover slightly increased to 8.9 million kuna from 8.8 million kuna on Tuesday.
