November 5 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) closed lower on Friday as a rebound in shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL] failed to offset losses in diversified holding company Adris [ZSE:ADRS2] and Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT], bourse data showed.
The ZSE's blue-chip 21-share benchmark CROBEX closed 0.35% lower at 1,997.42 points.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the top 10 Crobex components in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, declined 0.34% to finish at 1,230.96 points.
Shares of hotel operator Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] generated the biggest turnover on Friday, of 886,400 kuna ($136,000/118,000 euro). They ended at 31.80 kuna, unchanged from the closing price on Thursday.
The preferred shares of Adris fell 1.18% to end at 417 kuna in a turnover of 777,000 kuna.
Shares of shipping company Atlantska Plovidba rose 1.47% to 413 kuna, recovering after a drop of 1.45% on Thursday. They generated a turnover of 342,900 kuna on Friday.
In a lower turnover, shares of Hrvatski Telekom went down 0.27% to 185.5 kuna.
The ZSE's total turnover shrank to 4.2 million kuna from 6.0 million kuna on Thursday.
