December 6 (SeeNews) - European warehouse and logistics company Logicor said on Tuesday that it delivered an additional 23,000 sq m of warehouse space in its Bucharest I logistics park, thus fully completing the development of the project.
The company's new asset boasts 21,800 sq m of warehouse space and 1,200 sq m of office and social spaces, Logicor said in a press release.
The Bucharest I logistics park consists of four buildings, with a total space of 150,000 sq m.
"New developments in prime logistics regions in Romania are already in our pipeline, reflecting the growing demand for modern and sustainable logistics space around the country. We own logistics zoned land allowing for the incremental development of more
than 400,000 sqm of high-quality space," Mihai Diaconescu, director of asset mnagement at Logicor Romania, said.
Logicor is one of the largest owners and operators of modern logistics and distribution properties in Europe. As at end-June, the company owned a portfolio of 591 properties with a lettable area of 13.4 million sq m located in key European logistics markets. Logicor is headquartered in London and Luxembourg.
In Romania, Logicor Romania’s portfolio exceeds 260,000 sq m of A-class warehouse space of which some 82,225 sq m were developed and delivered over the past 12 months.
At the end of October, Logicor added 21,200 sq m to its Bucharest II logistics park.
