December 2 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Plovdiv city said that it has signed a deal for the reconstruction of part of its water supply network worth 20.2 million levs ($11.7 million/10.3 million euro) with a consortium led by local company PIMK selected in a public procurement tender.
The contract envisages the overhaul of the plumbing and sewerage system along two boulevards in the northern part of Plovdiv, with all related activities such as digging, delivery and installation of more than 11.2 km of pipes, building the street drainage system and restoring the road pavement, the city government said in a notice.
The deal was signed on September 14.
The tender attracted offers from five bidders. Price and technical criteria carried 50% weight each in the ranking of the bids.
The project is financed under EU Operational programme Environment.
