June 5 (SeeNews) - LNG Croatia, the operator of the country's liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal on the Krk island, said it has received its first ever delivery from Indonesia.
LNG carrier Cool Rover delivered LNG from the Indonesian port of Bontang, Badak LNG terminal, the company in a press release last week.
Considering the amount of LNG that is loaded onto the floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) LNG Croatia, the planned departure of the Cool Rover is expected on June 5.
The floating LNG terminal on the Krk island started operating in January 2021. It delivers natural gas to the Croatian national transmission network, which is connected to fellow EU member states Slovenia, Italy and Hungary, as well as to non-EU members Serbia and Montenegro.
