September 23 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) fell for a sixth consecutive session on Friday, as none of the blue chips closed in the green territory, bourse data showed.
The blue-chip SBITOP index ended Friday's trading session at 1,022.81 points, down 1.71%, while the SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, dropped 1.72% to 1,280.15 points, LJSE data showed.
Chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] lost the most among the blue chips, as its shares went down 4.69% to 24.40 euro. Nova Ljubljanska Banka [LJE:NLBR] was another major decliner, with shares falling 2.14% to 54.80 euro.
Total daily regulated market turnover rose to 1.4 million euro ($1.36 million) on Friday, compared with 931,547 euro generated on Thursday.
Pharmaceutical company Krka [LJE:KRKG] was the most traded company on the bourse on Friday, accounting for a turnover of 443,876 euro. Krka's shares lost 1.53% and closed at 90.20 euro.
