September 26 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) fell for a seventh consecutive session on Monday, as none of the blue chips closed in the green territory, bourse data showed.
The blue-chip SBITOP index ended the trading session at 995.05 points, down 2.71%. The SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, also lost 2.71% and closed at 1,245.41 points on Monday.
Hand tools manufacturer Unior [LJE:UKIG] lost the most among the blue chips, as its shares went down 12.62% to 9 euro. Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG] was another major decliner, with shares falling 5.24% to 48.80 euro.
Total daily regulated market turnover rose to 1.65 million euro ($1.6 million) on Monday compared with 1.4 million euro generated on Friday.
Pharmaceutical company Krka [LJE:KRKG] was the most traded company on the bourse on Monday, accounting for a turnover of 656,834 euro. Krka's shares lost 3.55% and closed at 87 euro.
