May 11 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) fell for a fifth consecutive trading session on Wednesday, with pharmaceutical company Krka [LJE:KRKG] leading the blue chip losers, bourse data showed.
Krka's shares went down 1.19% to 82.80 euro on Wednesday, LJSE data showed. The drug maker's stock was the most liquid on the bourse, generating a turnover of 1.13 million euro ($1.9 million).
Chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] lead the risers, as its shares gained 4.32% and closed at 290 euro on Wednesday.
The blue-chip SBITOP index dropped 0.15% and closed at 1,112.74 points on Wednesday. The SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, also lost 0.15% to end at 1,309.32 points.
The bourse's daily trading turnover fell to 1.78 million euro on Wednesday from 2.68 million euro generated on Tuesday.
