November 2 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) closed in red territory on Wednesday, the week's first trading day, bourse data showed.
The blue-chip SBITOP index closed at 1,013.58 points, down 0.32%. The SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, also dropped 0.32%, ending the trading session at 1,268.61 points on Wednesday, LJSE data showed.
Nova Ljubljanska Banka [LJE:NLBR] lost the most among the blue chips - 1.49%, and closed at 52.80 euro. The company was also the most traded company on the bourse, booking a turnover of 854,277 euro ($843,051).
Energy company Petrol [LJE:PETG] was the sole gainer, with shares advancing 0.93% to 21.80 euro.
Total daily regulated market turnover increased to 1.5 million euro on Wednesday from 1.2 million euro on Friday.
The bourse was closed on Monday and Tuesday due to public holidays.
