September 5 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) opened the trading week in red territory, as chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] lost the most among the blue chips, bourse data showed.
Cinkarna Celje's shares dropped 3.68% to 26.20 euro on Monday, LJSE data showed.
Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG] was the sole gainer among the blue chips, with shares closing at 54.50 euro, up 0.93% from the previous trading session.
The blue-chip SBITOP index fell 1.25% to 1,094.35 points, whereas the SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, lost 1.19% to close at 1,368.59 points.
Drug maker Krka [LJE:KRKG] generated the highest single trading turnover on the bourse on Monday - of 598,441 euro ($593,700). Its shares closed at 95 euro, down 2.66%.
The stock exchange's total turnover rose to 1 million euro on Monday from 791,719 euro on Friday.
