September 3 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) ended in green territory on Friday, as total daily turnover soared, bourse data showed.
Lender NLB [LJE:NLBR] lead the blue-chip winners for a second consecutive trading session. Its shares increased 2.82% to a closing value of 73 euro on Friday after gaining 2.01% on Thursday, LJSE data showed.
Other notable gainers include pharmaceutical company Krka [LJE:KRKG], which advanced 0.90% to close at 112.50 euro, and insurer Triglav [LJE:ZVTG], which added 0.86% and closed the session at 35.20 euro.
Krka was also the most liquid company on the bourse on Friday, as its shares generated a turnover of 737,617 euro ($876,500).
Seaport operator Luka Koper [LJE:LKPG] lost most in share value among the members of the two stock exchange indices, with shares ending 1.57% lower at 25 euro on Friday.
LJSE's total turnover increased to 2.2 million euro on Friday from 1.4 million euro on Thursday.
The blue-chip SBITOP index closed 0.64% higher at 1,201.46 points, whereas the SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, rose 0.62%, closing at 1,396.72 points on Friday.
