May 16 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) closed higher on Monday, compared with the previous trading day, as total daily trading turnover fell, bourse data showed.
The blue-chip SBITOP index gained 1.29% and closed at 1,130.58 points on Monday. The SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, also advanced 1.29% to end at 1,330.28 points, LJSE data showed.
Drug maker Krka [LJE:KRKG] gained the most, as its shares went up 3.05% to 87.80 euro. The company also was the most liquid company on the bourse, generating a turnover of 630,437 euro ($656,600).
Port operator Luka Koper [LJE:LKPG] paced the blue-chip decliners, as its shares lost 3.38% and closed at 22.90 euro on Monday.
The bourse's daily trading turnover fell to 1.2 million euro on Monday from 1.5 million euro generated on Friday.
