August 19 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) closed higher on Friday, recovering some of the losses from the previous two trading sessions, bourse data showed.
The blue-chip SBITOP index ended at 1,171.29 points, up 0.24%, whereas the SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, closed at 1,457.26 points, some 0.23% higher, LJSE data showed.
Seaport operator Luka Koper [LJE:LKPG] paced the blue-chip risers, with shares advancing 1.61% to 25.30 euro on Friday.
Insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav [LJE:ZVTG] lead the decliners, as its shares closed at 38.80 euro, down 0.51%.
The bourse's total trading turnover rose to 540,113 euro ($542,500) on Friday from 459,299 euro on Thursday.
Chemicals maker Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] dominated trading on Friday, as its shares switched hands in transactions worth a total of 145,691 euro. Cinkarna Celje's shares closed flat at 28.20 euro.
