January 20 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) closed in green territory for a third consecutive day on Thursday, as petroleum and fuel retailer Petrol [LJE:PETG] and lender Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB) [LJE:NLBR] gained most, bourse data showed.
Petrol's shares rose 1.82% to 560 euro, whereas NLB's stock advanced 1.74% to close at 82 euro, LJSE data showed.
At the other end, pharmaceutical company Krka [LJE:KRKG] paced the losers, as its shares went down 0.83% to 119 euro. Krka was the most liquid company on the bourse on Thursday, generating a turnover of 1.17 million euro ($1.3 million).
The bourse's daily trading turnover came in at 3.5 million euro on Thursday, compared with 2.5 million euro generated on Wednesday.
The blue-chip SBITOP index went up 0.60% to 1,337.77 points. The SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, also gained 0.60%, ending at 1,570.62 points.
