September 13 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) rose on Monday amid higher turnover, bourse data showed.
The blue-chip SBITOP index gained 0.86% to 1,179.10 points. The SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, added 0.83%, closing at 1,371.59 points, LJSE data showed.
Pharmaceutical company Krka [LJE:KRKG] gained most in share value on Monday, as its shares ended the session up 1.82% at 112 euro. Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG] was another notable winner, with shares closing 1.48% higher at 54.80 euro.
Insurer Sava Re [LJE:POSR] was the sole decliner among the members of the two indices. Its shares lost 0.36% and closed at 27.40 euro.
LJSE's total turnover rose to 1.19 million euro ($1.4 million) on Monday from 899,496 euro generated on Friday.
Seaport operator Luka Koper [LJE:LKPG] was the most liquid company on the bourse on Monday, generating 424,243 euro of turnover. Its shares closed flat at 24.60 euro.
