August 16 (SeeNews) - The two share indices of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) closed higher on Tuesday, this week's first trading day, with lender Nova Ljubljanska Banka [LJE:NLBR] pacing the blue-chip risers, bourse data showed.
NLB's shares advanced 1.23% on Tuesday, closing at 66 euro, LJSE data showed.
Reinsurer Pozavarovalnica Sava [LJE:POSR] lead the blue-chip decliners, with shares losing 2.40% to 24.40 euro.
The blue-chip SBITOP index ended at 1,173.39 points, up 0.04%, whereas the SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, closed at 1,459.75 points, 0.03% higher compared with the previous trading day.
The bourse's total trading turnover slightly increased to 1.4 million euro ($1.42 million) on Tuesday from 1.3 million euro on Friday. The bourse was closed on Monday due to a public holiday.
Insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav [LJE:ZVTG] dominated trading on Tuesday, as its shares switched hands in transactions worth a total of 655,339 euro. Triglav's shares closed 0.26% higher at 39.10 euro.
