May 25 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) closed Thursday's trading session up, with energy group Petrol [LJE:PETG] pacing the blue-chip winners, bourse data showed.
Petrol's shares advanced 2.55% to 24.10 euro on Thursday, LJSE data showed.
Chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] paced the blue-chip decliners, with shares falling 1.24% to 23.90 euro.
The blue-chip SBITOP index gained 0.70% and closed at 1,217.20 points on Thursday. The SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, also rose 0.70% to end at 1,538.90 points.
Insurer Sava Re [LJE:POSR] generated the highest single turnover among the blue chips on Thursday - of 484,976 euro ($522,181). Its shares won 0.85% to close at 23.60 euro.
The bourse's daily trading turnover came in at 1.7 million euro on Thursday, down from 2.4 million euro generated on Wednesday.
