May 17 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) dropped on Wednesday, as pharmaceuticals maker Krka [LJE:KRKG] paced the blue-chip fallers, bourse data showed.
Krka's shares declined 1.31% and closed at 113.0 euro on Wednesday, LJSE data showed. Krka also generated the highest single trading turnover on the bourse on Wednesday - 653,658 euro.
At the other end, chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] gained the most - 1.03%. The company's shares ended the session at 25.70 euro.
The blue-chip SBITOP index declined 0.38% and closed at 1,222.99 points on Wednesday. The SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, also went down 0.38% to end at 1,546.22 points.
The bourse's daily trading turnover came in at 1.2 million euro ($1.3 million) on Wednesday, down from 1.3 million euro on Tuesday.
