LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), December 1 (SeeNews) – The benchmark index of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, the SBITOP, posted minor gains amid lower turnover on Tuesday, bourse data indicated.
The SBITOP, which tracks the most liquid and highly capitalised stocks on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, LJSE, edged up 0.06% to 694.13 points after closing down 1.43% on Monday.
Three of the seven blue chips of the LJSE closed higher, two fell and as many ended flat.
Reinsurer Sava Re [LJE:POSR] led the SBITOP advancers, adding 1% to 13.7 euro ($14.5).
Household appliances maker Gorenje [LJE:GRVG] was the top SBITOP decliner, falling 0.96% to 4.11 euro.
Drug maker Krka [LJE:KRKG] was the most traded blue chip with 11,449 shares changing hands. The stock closed flat at 62 euro.
Total daily turnover on the LJSE dropped to 1.76 million euro from 2.47 million euro on Monday.
