April 3 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip share index of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) gained ground on Friday, as Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG] shares erased part of their losses from the previous two trading sessions, bourse data showed.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, closed Friday's session 0.29% higher at 716.62 points.
Telekom Slovenije shares gained most among SBITOP members, rising 2.91% to 42.4 euro. The company's shares dropped 4.19% on Thursday after a 2.71% decrease on Wednesday.
Trade in shares in pharmaceuticals producer Krka [LJE:KRKG] generated more than one-third of the day's trading turnover. Total regulated market turnover amounted to 1.1 million euro ($1.2 million) on Friday, while trade in Krka shares generated some 405,000 euro.
