September 24 (SeeNews) - The Ljubljana Stock Exchange's (LJSE) blue-chip SBITOP index recorded a third consecutive winning session, rising 1.44% to 846.80 points on Thursday.
The index was heavily backed by a 6.31% jump in the share price of fuel trader Petrol [LJE:PETG]. Petrol was also the most traded company, with deals in its shares forming a turnover of 639,000 euro.
The only other gainers among blue chips on Thursday were lender NLB [LJE:NLBR] and insurer Sava Re [LJE:POSR], which added 0.80% and 0.60%, respectively.
Total daily turnover amounted to 1.5 million euro ($1.7 million).
