April 1 (SeeNews) - The main share index of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) fell on Wednesday, as Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG] posted the biggest losses among the blue chips, bourse data showed.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, closed Wednesday's session 0.84% lower at 727 points.
Telekom Slovenije shares lost 2.71% to a closing price of 43 euro.
Other notable decliners among blue chips were drug maker Krka [LJE:KRKG] and insurer Sava Re [LJE:POSR], which erased 1.54% and 1.39%, respectively.
Trade in shares in Krka generated more than half of the day's trading turnover. Total regulated market turnover amounted to just over 1.6 million euro ($1.7 million) on Wednesday, while trade in Krka shares generated some 903,000 euro.
