April 2 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip SBITOP share index of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) recorded back-to-back losing sessions after closing 1.71% lower at 714.55 points on Thursday, bourse data showed.
Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG] posted the biggest losses among the blue chips for a second consecutive trading session, dropping 4.19% on Thursday after a 2.71% decrease on Wednesday.
Other notable decliners among blue chips were insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav [LJE:ZVTG] and drug maker Krka [LJE:KRKG], which erased 3.85% and 2.11%, respectively.
Trade in shares in Krka generated more than one-third of the day's trading turnover. Total regulated market turnover amounted to some 925,000 euro ($1 million) on Thursday, while trade in Krka shares generated 345,000 euro.
