September 9 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) ended in the red on Thursday, as none of the blue-chip companies saw its share price go up for a second trading session in a row, bourse data showed.
The blue-chip SBITOP index fell 1.75% to 1,169.74 points. The SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, dropped 1.69%, closing at 1,361.08 points, LJSE data showed.
Chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] lead the blue-chip decliners, with shares ending 2.88% lower at 236 euro.
Krka [LJE:KRKG] was another notable decliner, as the pharmaceutical company's shares closed Thursday's session down 2.65% at 110 euro. The company generated the highest turnover on the bourse - of 914,734 euro ($1.1 million).
LJSE's total turnover rose to 1.7 million euro on Thursday from 1.3 million euro generated on Wednesday.
