September 9 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) ended higher on Friday, after falling for seven consecutive trading days, as no member of the indices closed in the red, bourse data showed.
The blue-chip SBITOP index ended 1.01% higher at 1,073.41 points, while the SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, rose 0.96% to 1,343.71 points on Friday, LJSE data showed
Reinsurer Pozavarovalnica Sava [LJE:POSR] gained the most, as its shares advanced 3.85% to 21.60 euro on Friday. Nova Ljubljanska Banka [LJE:NLBR] was another major winner, with shares ending up 3.61% to 57.40 euro.
Total daily regulated market turnover dropped to 852,233 euro ($857,000) on Friday from 1.1 million euro on Thursday.
Drug maker Krka [LJE:KRKG] booked the largest turnover - of 386,124 euro. Its shares closed flat at 93.40 euro.
