July 31 (SeeNews) - The Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) blue-chip SBITOP index fell 0.56% to 870.59 points on Wednesday, as six of its eleven components closed lower.
Hand tools manufacturer Unior [LJE:UKIG] led decliners with a 1.91% decrease to 15.4 euro. Unior was followed by reinsurer Sava Re [LJE:POSR] and insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav [LJE:ZVTG], which lost 1.79% and 1.56%, respectively.
Earlier on Wednesday, Sava Re said that Standard & Poor’s has affirmed the company's financial strength rating “A”, with stable medium-term outlook.
Trade in drug maker Krka [LJE:KRKG] shares formed the largest turnover on Wednesday, of 291,510 euro.
LJSE's total daily trading turnover rose to 1.20 million euro ($1.34 million) on Wednesday from 1.07 million euro on Tuesday.
